How might we uplift care workers working in private home spaces?
A bag designed for domiciliary care workers in order to make break and meal times more predictable, comforting, and convenient. With a single unclasp, it unfolds into a stable lunch mat that enables on-the-go eating — on your lap, in your car, on the train, or even outdoors. The bag has built-in compartments for two meal containers, a drink, utensils, and comes with a collapsible pouch that doubles as a phone stand.
Leveraging the role of food as a vital connection point in the ways we show and receive care, this project aims to serve a crucial workforce that is so used to giving, but so seldom receives anything in return.
